The University of Calabar (UNICAL) students’ portal (www.portal.unical.edu.ng) has been inaccessible for over 14 days, affecting newly admitted students and returning students who need to complete various online processes.
The portal is used for admission screening, acceptance fee payments, admission checker PIN purchases, online screening, admission notification slip printing, and school fee payments.
However, School Beginner has contacted the university management and was informed that the portal is currently undergoing maintenance.
According to the information made available to School Beginner, the portal is expected to be restored soon.
Meanwhile, newly admitted students are advised to remain patient and avoid making payments through unofficial or incorrect portals while waiting for the official UNICAL students’ portal to be restored.
Students are also advised to rely on official university announcements for updates and to confirm the correct payment platform before making any transactions.
