Cross River State-born realtor and Managing Director of Barrycassper Real Estate & Properties Ltd., Afebende Barrycassper Ashi, has emerged as the Best Selling Realtor at the 2026 Golden Stars Award.

Ashi, a former President of COMEDSSA, University of Calabar (UNICAL), received the award at the sixth edition of the Golden Stars Award held on 25th July 2026 at Watercress Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

The realtor travelled from Calabar, Cross River State, to Lagos to attend the ceremony and receive the award after emerging as the winner of the Best Selling Realtor category.

He was nominated alongside Ofou Jennifer Achoja, Oluwafemi Oladipo, Adebayo Jumoke, Otabor Ighodaro Emmanuel, and Maureen Odey.

Ashi, a former President of COMEDSSA, University of Calabar (UNICAL), received the award at the sixth edition of the Golden Stars Award held on 25th July 2026 at Watercress Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

The recognition adds to Ashi’s growing profile in Nigeria’s real estate industry and highlights his contributions to the sector.

The Golden Stars Award is an annual Nigerian award that recognises individuals and organisations that have distinguished themselves in various fields, including entertainment, entrepreneurship, sports, public service and community development.

Reacting to the award, Ashi expressed gratitude to God Almighty, whom he credited for the grace and favour that have enabled him to achieve his current level of success.

In his appreciation message, the realtor said he was particularly grateful for God’s presence in his life, noting that it had guided his journey and opened doors of opportunity for him.
