  1. ADSU has started uploading names of qualified candidates to the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
  2. The uploading of ADSU admission list is done in batches. So far, admission list for Law, Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, and Accounting have been uploaded, and the process is still ongoing.
  3. JAMB will only offer you admission after ADSU has recommended your name on the JAMB CAPS Portal.
  4. It is illegal to accept ADSU admission outside JAMB CAPS portal.

  1. Go to ADSU admission checker portal at www.portal.jamb.gov.ng or portal.adsu.edu.ng.
  2. Enter your 2026 JAMB email and Password
  3. Tap the “LOGIN” button to access your 2026 admission status
  4. Click on “Check Admission Status” button to check if your name is on the 2026 ADSU admission list.

Adamawa State University Admission List

ADSU usually release five admission lists every year, namely:

  1. Merit Admission List
  2. Second batch admission list
  3. Third batch admission list
  4. Supplementary Admission List and
  5. VC admission list

1. ADSU First Batch Admission List

ADSU first batch admission list, also known as merit admission list, contains the names of candidates with the highest JAMB and Post UTME aggregate scores.

2. ADSU Second, Third and Fourth Batch Admission List

ADSU second, third, and supplementary admission lists contain the names of candidates who:

  • Did not upload their O’Level results early
  • Did not meet ADSU merit cut-off mark
  • Narrowly omitted during the uploading of the first batch of admissions
  • Have been offered admission through VC list

3. ADSU VC admission list

During the 2026 JAMB Policy Meeting, JAMB stated that VC Admission list is illegal but still operational in Nigeria.

However, before any university can use the 10% exemption mode, it must first admit 90% of students through the standard admission process.

This means that ADSU VC Admission List is usually the last to be released.

However, in some cases, it may be released earlier.

  2. Enter your 2026 JAMB Registration and Password or PIN
  3. Tap the “LOGIN” button to access your 2026 admission status
  4. Click on “Check Admission Status” button to check if your name is on the ADSU 2026 admission list.

What to Do After Accepting ADSU Admission

Here are the important steps to take after accepting ADSU admission on JAMB CAPS portal and confirming your name on ADSU admission portal:

  1. First, confirm your name on ADSU JAMB Matriculation list
  2. If your name is on the matriculation list, proceed and pay ADSU acceptance fee online or at any designated bank.
  3. Secure accommodation in the school hostel or find off-campus accommodation.
  4. Pay school fees
  5. Wait for resumption date for new students to be announced.
  6. Complete your online screening and register for your courses once the registration portal is open for new students.
  7. ADSU physical screening documents: Original JAMB result slip, Post-UTME registration slip, Birth certificate or age declaration, Certificate of origin, Attestation letters, JAMB admission letter and ADSU notification slip.
