Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has released the list of UTME and Direct Entry candidates admitted into the 2026/2027 academic session.

- OOU has started uploading names of qualified candidates to the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
- The uploading of OOU admission list is done in batches. So far, admission list for Law, Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, and Accounting have been uploaded, and the process is still ongoing.
- JAMB will only offer you admission after OOU has recommended your name on the JAMB CAPS Portal.
- It is illegal to accept OOU admission outside JAMB CAPS portal.

OOU usually release five admission lists every year, namely:

- Merit Admission List
- Second batch admission list
- Third batch admission list
- Supplementary Admission List and
- VC admission list
1. OOU First Batch Admission List
OOU first batch admission list, also known as merit admission list, contains the names of candidates with the highest JAMB and Post UTME aggregate scores.
2. OOU Second, Third and Fourth Batch Admission List
OOU second, third, and supplementary admission lists contain the names of candidates who:
- Did not upload their O’Level results early
- Did not meet OOU merit cut-off mark
- Narrowly omitted during the uploading of the first batch of admissions
- Have been offered admission through VC list
3. OOU VC admission list
During the 2026 JAMB Policy Meeting, JAMB stated that VC Admission list is illegal but still operational in Nigeria.
However, before any university can use the 10% exemption mode, it must first admit 90% of students through the standard admission process.
This means that OOU VC Admission List is usually the last to be released.
However, in some cases, it may be released earlier.

- Enter your 2026 JAMB Registration and Password or PIN

- Click on “Check Admission Status” button to check if your name is on the OOU 2026 admission list.
What to Do After Accepting OOU Admission
Here are the important steps to take after accepting OOU admission on JAMB CAPS portal and confirming your name on OOU admission portal:
- First, confirm your name on OOU JAMB Matriculation list
- If your name is on the matriculation list, proceed and pay OOU acceptance fee online or at any designated bank.
- Secure accommodation in the school hostel or find off-campus accommodation.
- Pay school fees
- Wait for resumption date for new students to be announced.
- Complete your online screening and register for your courses once the registration portal is open for new students.
- OOU physical screening documents: Original JAMB result slip, Post-UTME registration slip, Birth certificate or age declaration, Certificate of origin, Attestation letters, JAMB admission letter and OOU notification slip.
